Birth: Sep. 3, 1898 Osceola County Iowa, USA Death: Feb. 3, 1960 Jackson Jackson County Minnesota, USA

Lester was born the son of Mr. & Mrs. Albert Adkins. He was united in marriage to Mattie Nielson on June 16, 1920. To this union five children were born; Vernon of Elkton, MN; Ivan of Jackson, MN; Dorothy (Orval) Work of St. Paul, MN; Helen (Henry) Janzen of Jackson, MN; & Marie (Roger) Lovell of Fulda, MN.

Lester worked for many years for the Highway Department at Jackson, moving to Fulda in 1956 where he operated the Coffee Shop until 1958. At the time of his death, he was affiliated with the Liquid Gas Company at Jackson. Lester passed away at the Jackson Hospital due to a stroke.

Lester's siblings include Herman of Austin, MN; Clarence of Des Moines, IA; & Mrs. Emory Patterson of Jackson, MN.

Funeral services were held from Our Saviour Lutheran Church at Jackson, Rev. Fred Sommers officiating.
